Terms

The plain version of the agreement between you and Aback Audit.

The service

Aback Audit analyses public websites and produces reports. The free tier is provided as it is. The paid plan adds the limits and the features listed on the pricing page. The service may change, and a feature may be withdrawn.

Fair use

The rate limits exist to protect the sites that are being audited and to keep the service available. Trying to work around them, for example by spreading requests across many addresses, is not allowed and may lead to a block.

What a report is worth

A report measures technical readiness. It is not a prediction and it is not a promise. A good score does not mean a site will rank or be cited, and a poor score does not mean traffic will be lost. The recommendations are guidance, not a guarantee that a change will have a particular result.

Your content

You keep every right in the content you submit. A report is yours to use, share and act on. Reports are public to anyone with the link, so do not audit a page whose address contains a secret.

Availability

The service is provided without a guarantee of uptime. A report may be lost, and a check may be skipped when the environment cannot support it. Every such case is recorded in the limits of the report.

Liability

To the extent the law allows it, Aback is not liable for the decisions you make because of a report, for the damage a change you make causes, or for the loss of a report.
