Hear about it the day it breaks
A deploy adds a noindex, a plugin rewrites robots.txt, a CDN rule starts blocking AI crawlers. A monitor re-audits the site on a schedule and alerts you when the score drops or a critical check starts failing.

Frequently asked questions
Is Aback Audit really free?
Yes. All 55 checks, the free tools, the reports and monitoring for 3 sites are free, with no account, no API key and no cookie. The Pro plan raises the limits and adds deep audits and daily monitoring. Nothing in the free tier is held back.
How is the score calculated?
Each check earns a point for a pass and half a point for a warning, weighted by severity, so a failed critical check costs far more than a failed low one. The seven category scores are combined into the overall score, and a failing critical check caps it at 59, because a site that asks not to be indexed does not deserve a good score for tidy meta tags.
Does it check whether ChatGPT or Perplexity can read my site?
Yes. It reads what robots.txt says to every known AI crawler, requests the page with each crawler's user agent to catch firewall blocks, and checks that the content is in the HTML, since most AI crawlers do not run JavaScript. It does not claim to predict whether an assistant will cite you.
Will my site be crawled too often?
No. A domain can be audited a few times an hour and one audit at a time, whoever asks. The crawler identifies itself as AbackAuditBot, sends only GET and HEAD requests and honours robots.txt.
How is this different from Search Console or Lighthouse?
Search Console shows what Google decided about your pages. Lighthouse measures one page in your browser. Aback Audit checks any public site from the outside, covers crawling, AI crawler access, structured data, accessibility and security in one report, explains each finding with its evidence, and can watch the site on a schedule.
Can an AI agent use it?
Yes. There is a REST API and an MCP server. An agent can start an audit, read the report as JSON or Markdown, compare two runs and create a monitor, without a browser or a key.
Is my data private?
The audit only sends ordinary requests to the site being audited. Reports can be read by anyone with their link, are never listed publicly and are deleted after 30 days, or 90 on Pro. Your history and monitor links stay in your browser.
Need more than the free tier?
Pro raises every limit sixfold, adds deep audits of 100 pages and daily monitoring of up to 50 sites.
